What "IPCONFIG" is?
IPConfig is set of ActiveX classes and control that gives information about computer's TCP/IP
configuration. Component can be used with Visual Basic or any other programming environment supporting
Microsoft ActiveX® technology.
What it does
IPConfig is a COM wrapper of several windows DLL files, mainly iphlpapi.dll. The programmer need not
to use any API function to get information about IP configuration. With set of classes (objects) you
are able to get the more informations than with using of "ipconfig /all" command in windows.
